Kingston Oasis Partnerships Leveraged for Mobile Covid-19 Vaccine Clinics

Updated: Mar 15, 2022

This month, the Queen's Oasis Research Team partnered with Providence Care, Kingston landlords and KFL&A Public Health to organize five mobile covid-19 vaccine clinics at existing Oasis sites in naturally occurring retirement communities (NORCs) across the city.

The purpose of these clinics were to assist Oasis members, and other older adults living in NORCs, in getting their third dose boosters. First and second doses and testing were also available.

The clinics were a great success and demonstrate an example of how NORCs can be leveraged to ensure services are accessible to older adults living in the community.
